Italian Health Ministry recalls Jubatti and Terre d'Italia hamburgers over possible E. coli
The Italian Ministry of Health has issued a recall of two beef hamburger products, Jubatti BBQ and Terre d'Italia, because of a possible presence of Shiga toxin‑producing Escherichia coli (STEC). Both items were produced by Soalca S.r.l. at its plant in Cerrani 13/B, Pretoro (CH), and share the same production lot number 506091.
The recalled Jubatti BBQ hamburgers are sold in 180 g packs with expiry dates 6–9 August 2026, while the Terre d'Italia hamburgers are sold in 200 g packs expiring 7–8 August 2026. Consumers who have purchased any of these products are instructed not to eat them and to return the items to the point of sale for a full refund.
