Italian schools announce top Maturità 2026 scores across multiple regions
High schools throughout Italy reported outstanding results in the 2026 Maturità examinations. In Siracusa, 36 students achieved centesimi, while in Milazzo 340 graduates included 36 centesimi and 21 with honors. The Norberto Bobbio institute in Carignano highlighted multiple 100‑point grades and several centesimi with lode across its linguistic, scientific and human‑science streams. The Einaudi‑Alvaro institute in Palmi celebrated 20 students earning 100/100, including ten with lode, and a cohort completing the dual Italian‑French EsaBac diploma. Similar excellence was noted in Nuoro, where the Liceo Fermi recorded 16 perfect scores and nine with lode, and the Liceo Asproni added eight centesimi and three lode. Technical institutes such as ITIS Galilei and other schools in the region also posted numerous 100‑point results. Officials attributed some of the performance to recent changes in the credit‑allocation and final‑score system, but overall the results were praised as a sign of high educational quality and student dedication.
