Italian honey producers win national Tre Gocce d’Oro awards

The 46th edition of the “Tre Gocce d’Oro – Grandi Mieli d’Italia” national competition, organized by the Osservatorio Nazionale Miele, has recognized top Italian honey producers.

Società Agricola L’Oro del Daino, based in Mondaino, achieved the highest honor by winning the three “Gocce d’Oro” award for its Millefiori honey. The company, which operates under certified organic standards, was recognized for its purity and its ability to showcase the biodiversity of the Valconca region.

In the Val di Bisenzio region, Oasi del Miele Marchetti received two awards: “Due Gocce d’Oro” for its Millefiori honey and “Una Goccia d’Oro” for its Chestnut honey. The company’s Millefiori honey has been selected to represent Tuscany in the “I Mille Mieli, I Millefiori” special section final in Turin.

Additionally, the municipality of Vernio is preparing for “Dolce Vernio 2026,” a market exhibition promoted by the Municipality of Vernio and Arpat to showcase local honey, agricultural products, and traditional crafts.
