Italian KFOR soldiers conduct live-fire training near Pristina
Italian soldiers serving within the NATO-led KFOR mission in Kosovo have conducted live-fire training exercises at the Razorback shooting range near Pristina.
The training was designed to maintain combat skills, update knowledge regarding individual weapon systems, strengthen operational procedures, and improve coordination among participants. KFOR stated that such activities are intended to maintain high operational readiness and situational awareness.
KFOR continues to operate under the mandate of UN Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999) to ensure a secure and peaceful environment in Kosovo and to guarantee freedom of movement. The mission works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).
