Italian Language Week in the World to be held in North Macedonia

The 26th edition of the Italian Language Week in the World will take place from October 17 to November 7. Organized by the Embassy of Italy in Skopje in collaboration with local academic institutions, the event is themed ‘Genius Language: we think, design, create with the Italian language’.

The program includes scientific conferences, literary and lexicographical events, film screenings, and workshops. Key highlights include a lecture on Italian studies in the era of artificial intelligence by Prof. Dr. Ana Ilievska, conferences on the works of Luigi Pirandello, and the promotion of the first Italian-Macedonian phraseological dictionary by Prof. Dr. Radica Nikodinovska.

Cultural activities will be held at Europe House in Skopje, the Blazhe Koneski Philological Faculty, and Goce Delchev University in Shtip. The event also features film screenings, workshops on Italian gastronomy and fashion, and presentations regarding study opportunities and scholarships in Italy. The festivities will conclude on November 7 at the Study Abroad Fair Skopje.
