Italian Language Week promotes cultural ties in Armenia and Croatia

The 26th edition of the Italian Language Week in the World (SLIM) has taken place across various locations, focusing on the theme ‘Genius Language: designing, planning, creating with Italian’.

In Armenia, the event included initiatives at universities and schools to strengthen academic and cultural collaboration between Italy and Armenia. Key highlights included an inaugural ceremony at Yerevan State University featuring Italian Ambassador Alessandro Ferranti and author Antonia Arslan. Additionally, a delegation from the University for Foreigners of Perugia visited Yerevan State University V. Brusov to foster institutional ties.

In Croatia, the Italian Consulate General in Fiume organized a concert titled ‘Italian Rock by Women’ at Pogon kulture in Sušak. The event, part of the broader SLIM program, featured musical performances including the Midnight Blues Band, aimed at promoting the Italian language through music and international cultural exchange.
