Italian Law Enforcement Careers Mark Milestones: Greco Returns to Bari, Lombardo Retires
Carabiniere Fabriana Greco, who began her career in the Italian Army before joining the Carabinieri, has completed seven years of service across the provinces of Frosinone and Morolo. After a stint at the Modugno station, she will return to her hometown of Bari on 31 July and resume duties in the nearby town of Modugno.
Prison police officer Antonio Martino Lombardo, who entered the Polizia Penitenziaria in October 1985, is retiring after nearly 42 years of service. His career included assignments in Venice, Foggia and a long tenure at the San Severo prison, where he became a respected colleague and mentor.
Both men and women are being honored for their long‑term contributions to Italy’s public safety forces.
