Italian lawmaker returns €30,000 ring found at Montecitorio

Simonetta Matone, a Lega member of Parliament and former magistrate, recovered a high-value ring found in a restroom at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The jewelry, described as having a white gold setting with three diamonds, was estimated by Matone to be worth approximately €30,000.

After discovering the item on a shelf near the Gallery of Presidents, Matone handed the ring over to security personnel to ensure its return to the rightful owner. The ring has since been successfully returned to its owner.
