Italian legal professionals convene for major judicial and corporate law summits

Legal professionals and institutions in Italy recently held significant gatherings to address judicial challenges and regulatory evolutions. In Fiuggi, the fourth edition of the conference on ‘The New Law of Corporate Crisis’ was hosted by the Frosinone Bar Association, in collaboration with the Frosinone Order of Chartered Accountants and the Frosinone Court.

The Fiuggi event focused on corporate recovery, restructuring, and the perspectives of the new EU Insolvency Directive. It brought together magistrates, academics, and professionals to discuss insolvency procedures and judicial liquidation. The conference included contributions from the Deputy Minister of Justice and representatives from the Revenue Agency and the National Forensic Council.

Simultaneously, Naples hosted the National Assembly of the Organismo Congressuale Forense (OCF) at the ‘De Marsico’ Library. This assembly served as a platform for the Italian legal profession to analyze justice sector challenges and outline future political-forensic directions. Alongside the OCF meeting, an international summit was held in collaboration with the Italian and Greek Unions of Criminal Chambers, focusing on investigative tools and asset prevention measures regarding organized crime and money laundering.
