New presidents inaugurated across multiple Italian Lions and Rotary clubs

A series of service‑club leadership transitions took place in Italy during June‑July 2026. Alessandro Rossi assumed the presidency of the Lions Club Ancona La Mole, outlining new service projects such as a charitable concert and youth‑focused initiatives. Carla Salvadori was elected president of the Lions Club Ostiglia, promising a school‑based service for local high‑school students and continu­ing long‑standing programmes. Maria Grazia Di Pietro became president of the Lions Club Priolo Gargallo, emphasizing collaborations with schools, churches and the local Caritas. Lorenzo Fabrizi was confirmed for a second term as president of the Lions Club Senigallia, reporting that the club’s volunteers assisted 1,550 people and delivered over 1,000 service hours in the previous year. In the Rotary sphere, Alessandro Iuliano took over the Rotary Community Corps Valle Caudina, pledging projects on digital inclusion for seniors and support for families with newborns. Piergiorgio Zanazza succeeded Carlo Giani as president of the Rotary Club Varese Ceresio, with the club highlighting health‑care outreach, a “Truck di Pizzaut” fundraiser and canine‑assistance training for detainees. Other Rotary clubs also recorded hand‑overs: Cesare Zanni at Rotary Club Sassuolo and David Trotti at Rotary Club Viterbo, each outlining plans to strengthen local partnerships and community service. Across these clubs, the ceremonies featured traditional symbols such as the passing of a hammer, bell or collar, recognition of long‑serving members, and the awarding of high honours like the Melvin Jones Fellow.
