Italian literary and poetry festivals scheduled for October 18

Several literary and poetic events are scheduled for Sunday, October 18, in Italy. In Tivoli Terme, the event ‘Scrittori in Movimento – Letterature a confronto tra Abruzzo e Lazio’ will take place at Parco Lotti Antonelli. Promoted by the WritersEditor publishing group and several collaborators, the event features various writers from the Abruzzo and Lazio regions, including Beniamino Cardines, Vittorina Castellano, and Guido Colombo. The program includes artistic performances and music by the Orchestra Poetica Italiana.

In Terni, the ‘Poeti di Strada’ festival will hold its zero edition as part of the ‘Contatto Festival’ at AreaLAB del Caos. Curated by Valentino Gatti, the event focuses on street poetry and includes a collective reading titled ‘I Movimenti dell’Amore’. This initiative, part of the ‘Wannabe Grand Tour’ project funded by the Umbria Region, aims to bring poetry back to public spaces to foster human connection in a digital age.
