Italian literary events feature new works by Gianni Caccia and Alessandro Pruiti Ciarello

Several literary presentations have taken place in Italy. In Novi Ligure, Gianni Caccia is set to present his latest work, ‘Il collega’, at the Casa del Giovane on October 10, 2026. Published by puntoacapoEditrice, the novel is described as a blend of noir, thriller, and psychological horror that explores themes of everyday evil and metaphysical shifts.

In Castell'Umberto, Alessandro Pruiti Ciarello presented his debut book, ‘La Sicilia non inciampa (chi striscia non cade), La consegna del silenzio’, at the San Giorgio Social Center. The book, published by Kimerik, explores Italian history from the post-war period to the present through the lens of family secrets and the relationship between individuals and institutions. The event featured local officials and legal professionals, and the publisher has indicated interest in proposing the work for the Campiello Prize.
