Italian literary festivals feature Biagio Accardo and Davide Piras

Several literary events are scheduled in Italy. In Valderice, poet Biagio Accardo will conclude the 21st edition of the Terrazza d'Autore festival on August 20 at the Teatro Comunale ‘On. Nino Croce’. His presentation, titled ‘Esercizi di riparazione’, explores the regenerative power of poetry and its ability to provide unity and meaning in a fragmented world.

In Ploaghe, writer Davide Piras is set to present his novel ‘Femmenella’ as part of the Éntula festival on August 25. The event will take place at the former Convento dei Cappuccini. The novel follows the emotional journey of an adolescent navigating the rise of fascism and the social prejudices of that era.
