Coreno Ausonio Mayor calls for increased Pnrr and social service funds

Simone Costanzo, Mayor of Coreno Ausonio and President of the Cassinate Social Services Consortium, has called for increased resources and simplified administrative procedures during the Anci Lazio regional assembly.

Costanzo highlighted the need for dedicated funding to maintain public works constructed with Pnrr funds. He also emphasized the urgent requirement for more resources to support minors placed in foster homes by judicial authorities, noting that these costs place a significant strain on municipal budgets and risk financial instability.

Additionally, the Mayor advocated for increased funding for specialized assistance services and a reduction in bureaucratic obligations, which he noted are particularly challenging for small municipalities due to high costs and limited personnel.
