Italian lower‑division clubs experience player exits as Biondi, Pozzetti, and Zanellato move on

In July 2026 Basket Team Pizzighettone announced that young forwards Nicolò Biondi (born 2006) and Matteo Pozzetti (born 2007) will leave after three seasons. Biondi logged 25 appearances and 15 points before moving to Soresinese 06, where he will also serve as a youth instructor for his former club. Pozzetti, who recorded nine appearances and 10 points, will continue his career with a Serie DR1 side.

At the same time, Calcio Lecco 1912 confirmed the permanent transfer of midfielder Niccolò Zanellato (born 1998) to Serie C club Casarano Calcio. Zanellato, a former Milan academy product, played 50 matches for Lecco, scoring five goals and providing four assists. Lecco’s management said the club will keep strengthening the roster despite the departures.
