Italian makeup experts urge lightweight summer base for natural look

Beauty writer reviews KIKO Milano’s Skin Trainer CC Blur, a colored cream that combines a blur‑effect primer with light coverage. The formula contains 10% soft‑focus powders, hyaluronic acid, Italian grape extract and vitamin E, offering a dewy, pore‑minimising finish suitable for summer.

Make‑up artist Irene Torrisi Bertelli advises Italians to adapt their routine for hot weather: use sunscreen of at least SPF 50, choose light moisturisers or serums, apply an oil‑controlling primer and a fixing spray, and limit heavy foundations. She warns against over‑using highlighter, thick creams, kajal pencils and excessive powder, recommending instead a thin‑layered foundation and a matte primer for the T‑zone.
