Ponza D'Autore festival tackles disinformation with Tajani, Calenda, Durigon

The XVII edition of the Ponza D'Autore festival will be held on 17‑18 July in the Piazza della Chiesa SS. Silverio and Domitilla on the island of Ponza. Organized by Valentina Fontana and Vis Factor, the event is supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism, the Lazio Region and the municipality of Ponza.

The programme focuses on the role of (dis)information in politics, economics, justice and society. The first evening will examine how political messaging and media shape public consensus, while the second will look at the international battle over narratives. Speakers include Vice‑President of the Council and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, former Minister Carlo Calenda, magistrate Claudio Durigon, prosecutor Nicola Gratteri, journalist Luca Palamara and others. The festival aims to foster dialogue among politicians, journalists, magistrates and cultural figures about the construction of truth in democratic societies.
