Italy hosts various scientific, cultural, and culinary events
Italy is hosting a series of diverse professional and cultural events across several regions. In Riccione, the Italian Society of Urology (SIU) is holding its 99th national congress, focusing on adaptive therapy, artificial intelligence, and robotic surgery. The event includes a public health initiative offering free prostate cancer screenings in the city.
In the field of medical research, Coop Alleanza 3.0 has donated €18,965 to the IRST Dino Amadori Institute in Meldola to support the IMPACT-AML project, which focuses on acute myeloid leukemia research under the European Commission’s Horizon Mission Cancer program.
Cultural and culinary initiatives are also prominent. The Ocean Film Festival is touring Italy, with a stop in Como featuring international films about marine ecosystems. In New York, the Casa Artusi Foundation presented the International Observatory on Italian Cuisine and Good Taste to promote Romagnolo gastronomy in North America. Additionally, the Agorà Festival is scheduled to return to Cesena in November, focusing on the themes of authority and trust.
