Italian Ministry Authorizes Tourism Guide Training in Reggio Calabria

The Ministry of Tourism has approved three professional development courses for tourism guides, organized by Confcommercio Reggio Calabria under the Confguide Reggio Calabria network. The programs, each totaling 50 hours, will run in November 2026, January and February 2027 and cover territorial communication, artificial‑intelligence applications for the profession, and local tourism development planning.

The courses are open to all tourism operators seeking to update their skills. Fabio Giubilo, director of Confcommercio Reggio Calabria, highlighted that the ministerial recognition confirms the quality of a proposal rooted in local experience. President Francesca Mangiola emphasized the need for guides to continuously broaden their knowledge and adopt inclusive, contemporary language. The initiative aligns with the broader territorial marketing strategy promoted through Visit Reggio Calabria and the Infopoint del Lungo ma.
