The Italian Ministry of Health has issued a recall for two food products due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause listeriosis.

The first product is a 200-gram plastic container of ready-to-eat rice salad sold under the brand ‘Insalate già pronte’. It is produced and packaged by La Sorgente Srl at its facility in Pessano con Bornago, Milan. The recall specifically affects lot number 26016, which has an expiration date of August 22, 2026.

The second product is ‘Mon Sir’ brand Brie cheese (60% fat), sold in 1-kilogram forms. This product is manufactured by the French company Paturages Comtois, based in Aboncourt, France. The affected lot is identified by the code ZUAD2.

Consumers who have purchased these specific lots are advised not to consume the products and to return them to the point of sale.
