Italian MOOD Platform Launches Free Online Resources for 2026 Open Medicine Semester

The Italian Ministry of University and Research has funded a new free web platform called MOOD, created to support students preparing for the 2026 Open Semester in Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary studies.

Developed with thefaculty, MOOD offers more than 100 hours of video lectures in physics, chemistry and biology, an adaptive study‑plan tool, flashcards, mind maps, gamified quizzes and thousands of commented multiple‑choice and fill‑in questions. The service is accessible via a mobile app and PC, linked through Universitaly, and involves 44 Italian universities. It is promoted by the permanent conferences of the presidents of Medicine and Surgery and of Dentistry and Prosthetic Dentistry.
