Italian motorsport events: Slalom Valle di Comino and Vico Equense

Two regional motorsport events are scheduled to take place in Italy.

The first is the inaugural Slalom Valle di Comino, organized by Ianni Rent and Basilicata Motorsport. Part of the 23rd Challenge Interregionale 26e, the race features 42 registered drivers competing on a 2,950-meter track on the SP94 in San Donato Val di Comino. The event, supported by twenty local municipalities, aims to promote the territory. Technical inspections and a meeting titled ‘Donne del Motorsport: incontro al femminile’ are scheduled for Saturday, with the official race taking place on Sunday.

Simultaneously, the 22nd Slalom Città di Vico Equense is set to take place on Monte Faito. Organized by ASD Rombo Team under ACI Sport, the competition has 79 drivers registered. The event features various categories, including prototypes such as Radical SR4 and Prosport models. Luigi Vinaccia, driving an Osella PA9/90-Honda, is noted as a key competitor to watch in the challenge against the clock.
