Italian MP Lucaselli highlights energy policy and government decrees
Ylenja Lucaselli, a deputy for Fratelli d'Italia (Fdi), identified energy autonomy as the primary challenge currently facing Italy. Speaking at the City Talks event in Naples, she stated that the Meloni government has established a path toward energy independence to address issues stemming from the international geopolitical situation.
Lucaselli noted that since March, the government has issued fifteen decrees, allocating over two billion euros to address utility bill concerns. The most recent measure was designed to provide relief to road haulers. She emphasized the need for continued action and called for European assistance to support member states during these difficult economic times.
