Italian municipalities Alatri and Cittiglio announce infrastructure and security upgrades
The municipality of Alatri has secured 1,193,990 euros for the energy requalification of the "Felice Cataldi" school in Tecchiena. Led by Mayor Maurizio Cianfrocca, the administration aims to use these funds to modernize the building, increase energy efficiency, and reduce consumption to improve the environment for students and staff.
In Cittiglio, Mayor Rossella Magnani has announced a series of maintenance and security upgrades for the local cemetery. Following recent thefts of statues and bronze materials, the municipality is installing a video surveillance system and utilizing photo traps. Other planned works include repairing external walls, cleaning internal areas, implementing specialized vegetation management with agronomic testing, removing dangerous pine trees, and installing new lighting and benches.
