Italian municipalities announce new social housing tenders
Several Italian municipalities have announced new tenders for social and affordable housing.
In Trento, the local government has approved a call for the rental of six moderate-rent properties, three of which include an option for purchase. Applications must be submitted online via the municipal website using Spid or an electronic identity card (Cie) by October 26. Additionally, the Autonomous Province of Trento has set a window from October 26 to November 26 for applications regarding sustainable-rent public housing.
In Novi Ligure, a general tender for social housing rentals is open from October 5 to December 5, 2026. The program is available to citizens meeting regional requirements, including Italian or EU citizenship and residence or employment in Piedmont. Applicants must have a valid ISEE certificate not exceeding 25,326.56 euros and must not own suitable property. Selection criteria will prioritize specific family and housing needs, such as disability, eviction, or overcrowding.
