Italian municipalities approve 2027‑2029 planning programmes and public‑works projects
The town of Spoltore approved its Documento Unico di Programmazione (DUP) for 2027‑2029 together with a three‑year public‑works programme. Funding includes €3 million for a new multipurpose sports hall, €1.5 million for a community theatre and resources to rebuild a school on the former Mammut site.
In Merate, the council examined the DUP 2027‑2029, set the waste‑management budget (approximately €1.73 million for 2026) and kept the TARI tariff unchanged apart from a €6 bonus for low‑income families. Councilors also debated procedural changes for handling interrogations. Both municipalities are implementing multi‑year plans to finance infrastructure and services for local residents.
