Italian towns Molfetta and Manfredonia detail new council appointments and attendance payments
Mayor Manuel Minervini of Molfetta issued a statement praising the recent appointments to the boards of the municipality’s companies ASM, Multiservizi and MTM. He highlighted the selection of Massimiliano Piscitelli, Valentina Mastropasqua and Vito De Bari for ASM; Brigida Mulinelli, Giuseppe Ciccolella and Damiano Favuzzi for Multiservizi; and Cosimo Damiano Angeletti as the sole administrator of MTM, describing the choices as a break from past management and a focus on competence, transparency and modern governance.
In Manfredonia, the municipal administration approved a payment of €32,615.13 for councilors’ attendance fees covering May and June 2026. The amount, calculated at €55.77 per session and payable only for sessions attended for at least half their duration, was split between €30,060.03 from the budget line for presence allowances and €2,555.10 for IRAP. The decision, signed by director Matteo Ognissanti, follows the council’s 2003 resolution on token payments and recent financial‑balance measures.
