Italian municipalities approve road asphalt projects

The council of Leivi approved a comprehensive road resurfacing plan for Via degli Ulivi, with work slated to begin in September. The municipality will halt new utility excavations for 24 months after the start of the project, except for extraordinary cases. Mayor Gabriele Pisani emphasized the aim of improving safety and aesthetics across all local streets.

In Falconara Marittima, asphalt resurfacing of the Via Rosselli–Via Leopardi corridor will commence on 21 July, costing about €230,000. The work will be carried out in multiple phases, with temporary parking bans and traffic diversions detailed by transport assessor Luca Cappanera to minimise disruption, especially for nearby health‑care facilities.
