Italian municipalities face calls for urban forestry and infrastructure maintenance

In Corigliano-Rossano, representatives from the Futuro Nazionale committees have expressed support for the digitalization of the Civil Protection Plan but warned of urgent maintenance needs. While acknowledging the benefits of rapid digital communication during emergencies, the group highlighted that clogged drains, obstructed gutters, and overgrown drainage channels pose significant risks of flooding as autumn rains approach.
