Italian municipalities hold commemorations for National Unity Day

The municipalities of Limbiate and Albiate have scheduled ceremonies to observe the Day of National Unity and the Armed Forces. These commemorations honor those fallen in all conflicts and mark the historical conclusion of World War I.

In Limbiate, activities include a memory itinerary involving local students and associations on November 4, visiting various local monuments. An official institutional ceremony is also planned for November 8.

In Albiate, celebrations will take place on November 1, featuring a solemn Mass, a civic procession, and the laying of a laurel wreath. The program includes a specific dedication at the Baita degli Alpini in Villa Campello, where a bench and a plaque will be inaugurated to honor the memory of Alpino Romeo Ascherio.
