Italian municipalities host international student exchange programs

Various Italian municipalities are hosting or organizing international student exchange programs to promote cultural integration and civic engagement.

In Civitanova, a delegation of students from Austria and Spain, participating in the Erasmus+ project through the 'Leonardo da Vinci' high school, was received at Palazzo Sforza. Vice Mayor Claudio Morresi met with the group to discuss Italian administrative institutions and encouraged active democratic participation.

The municipality of Rieti has launched a renewal campaign for its Student Registry through the Twinning and International Relations Committee. This initiative allows local high school students to participate in cultural exchanges with partner cities in Spain, Japan, Brazil, Germany, and France.

In Fermo, students from the 'Friedrich-List-Schule' in Ulm, Germany, joined peers from the Fermo Scientific High School for the 'Future City Lab' project. The program focuses on urban planning and the needs of 'Generation Z,' involving field studies of mobility, green spaces, and social gathering points.
