Italian municipalities implement urban cleaning and pest control measures

Municipalities in the Marche region are conducting various urban maintenance and sanitation operations. In Pianella, the local administration is implementing measures to improve cleanliness and safety in the historic center. These efforts include intensified rodent control programs and innovative, non-invasive methods to manage pigeon populations, such as using drones. The administration noted that the historic center's architecture, including abandoned buildings and active construction sites, complicates pest management.

In Pesaro, Marche Multiservizi is scheduled to clean approximately 260 street drains in the Candelara area from September 28 to October 2. The operations aim to prevent obstructions caused by debris and waste. Residents are advised of temporary parking restrictions in affected streets to facilitate the work.
