Italian municipalities impose new nightlife restrictions in Perugia and Milan

Milan announced tighter controls for its nightlife districts, limiting the sale of alcohol, take‑away drinks, glass bottles and cans, and restricting outdoor seating hours. The ordinance applies to areas such as the Navigli, Brera, Isola, NoLo and Lazzaretto‑Melzo, and follows a court ruling on excessive nighttime noise. Specific prohibitions include alcohol sales after 22:00 and take‑away service after midnight, with stricter rules for outdoor tables after 02:00 on weekends.
