Italian municipalities inaugurate new municipal nurseries

In Bertinoro, the new Il Colibrì nursery has been inaugurated in Santa Maria Nuova. The facility covers approximately 450 square meters and can accommodate 30 children across two sections. The project was funded by over 1 million euros from the Pnrr, supplemented by 540,000 euros for essential works. The nursery utilizes Montessori pedagogy and outdoor education principles, featuring natural materials and environments designed to foster autonomy and socialization.
In Castellina in Chianti, the Scubidù municipal nursery resumed its educational services on September 1. Local officials noted that improvements are underway, including the installation of air conditioning and the planned addition of a new kitchen for which funds have already been allocated.
Additionally, Marciana Marina has officially opened the Fantabosco nursery. The facility is designed for children aged 12 to 36 months, providing a dedicated space for creativity, play, and socialization within the community.
