Italian municipalities issue notices regarding cemetery concessions
The municipalities of Bra and Realmonte in Italy have released notices concerning cemetery concessions that are either expiring or have already expired.
In Bra, lists of concessions expiring or expired as of December 31, 2026, have been posted at the Rimembranze, Bandito, and Pollenzo cemeteries, as well as on the municipal website and official registry. Interested parties can contact the Civil Status Office by December 30 to request exhumation or renew concessions. For those who do not take action, the municipality will arrange for exhumation or exhumation in April 2027.
In Realmonte, the administration has begun an administrative review of cemetery concessions for niches located in the western block of the old municipal cemetery. Mayor Alessandro Mallia stated that this is a preliminary verification phase involving 44 identified positions. Concessionaires, heirs, or family members are invited to contact municipal offices within 30 days of the notice to verify documentation, present contracts, or report inaccuracies.
