Italian municipalities launch 2026 summer sports and inclusion camps for children
The Comune of Castel San Giorgio announced the 2026 "Vivi l’Estate" summer centre for minors, running from 20 July to 7 August. The programme serves children aged 25 months to 14 years, offering swimming, water‑based activities, team sports, creative workshops and specialised support for children with special needs. Two sites are used – the G. Siani nursery for ages 2‑5 and Villa Calvanese for ages 6‑14 – with municipal school‑bus transport provided. Applications close on 10 July, and families must submit a current ISEE declaration.
Doria Nuoto 2000 Loano opened its 2026 edition of Educamp in mid‑June. Targeting the 6‑14 age group, the camp combines swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming and other sports with nutrition‑balanced meals and supervised study time. Certified FIN coaches and sport‑science graduates lead activities, emphasizing healthy habits and inclusive participation. The camp operates daily throughout the summer, and enquiries can be made via the club’s office or website.
