Italian municipalities launch autumn cultural programs
Various Italian municipalities are launching cultural initiatives to promote local heritage and community engagement during the autumn season.
In Carrù, the municipality and the cultural association Gli Spigolatori ETS are organizing “A che punto siamo? Dialoghi sulla contemporaneità.” Running from October 24 to November 21, the festival will use literature, music, cinema, and social media to explore the identity and cultural life of Italian provinces. The main venue will be the Teatro Fratelli Vacchetti.
In Oristano, the city council is preparing the “Eventi d’autunno 2026” program. Following the model used for “Settembre Oristanese,” the city is inviting local associations and private entities to submit projects for October and November. Rather than direct financial aid, the municipality will offer support through institutional patronage, free use of public spaces and equipment, and potential exemptions from certain municipal fees. The goal is to maintain tourism and celebrate local traditions outside of the peak season.
