Italian municipalities launch holiday initiatives in Borgia and Forlì

Italian municipalities are launching initiatives to prepare for the 2026 holiday season. In Borgia, the local administration and the Department of Cultural Policies have introduced the “Il Paese di Babbo Natale” project. Led by Mayor Elisabeth Sacco, the initiative aims to foster social cohesion and economic revitalization by transforming the town center into a festive destination. A strategic meeting for local businesses and economic operators is scheduled for September 26 at Palazzo Mazza to discuss organizational details and gather community input.

In Forlì, the city has released a call for sponsorships for the “Forlì che Brilla 2026” project. Running from November 20, 2026, to January 6, 2027, the program features a calendar of shows, animations, and decorations in the historic center designed to boost tourism and commercial attractiveness. Interested companies can choose from various sponsorship tiers—Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Technical Sponsor—to support specific elements such as the Christmas tree, markets, and musical events in exchange for promotional visibility.
