Italian municipalities launch insect disinfection campaigns

Municipalities in Italy are implementing scheduled insect disinfection and anti-larval treatment programs to protect public health and urban decorum.

In Montesilvano, a campaign led by Ambi Q srl is set to begin on October 12. The plan includes both larvicidal treatments during the day and adulticidal disinfection at night, specifically between midnight and 6:00 AM. Residents are advised to keep windows closed and remove food or clothing from balconies during these hours.

In Rende, a program conducted by Brutia Disinfestazione Srl in collaboration with local police will take place from October 6 to October 10. The interventions will target various sectors, including the historic center, industrial zones, and university areas, with most operations scheduled to begin after midnight.
