Italian municipalities launch new EV charging stations in Rocca de' Baldi and Bolzano

Rocca de' Baldi's municipal council approved Enel X Way to install a public electric‑vehicle charging pole on Piazza Roma. The pole, part of Poste Italiane’s Polis project, will serve two vehicles simultaneously, draw only renewable electricity and occupy public land for twelve years under a long‑term concession.

In Bolzano, the city added 35 new charging points across 18 stations with an investment of about €700 000. The Powy system offers AC, DC and ultra‑fast HPC chargers and includes smart sensors in the road surface that detect vehicles parking in charging bays illegally. The project also uses renewable energy and was highlighted by Powy CEO Federico Fea.
