Italian municipalities launch school support services

Local authorities in Italy are implementing various initiatives to support students ahead of the new school year. In Lanuvio, the municipal school transport service is scheduled to resume on September 14, 2026. The municipality confirmed that all transport requests submitted by the April 21 deadline have been accepted. For late applications, placement will depend on seat availability. A dedicated telephone line will be available on September 9 to provide families with information regarding schedules and stops.

In Montereale Valcellina, a free educational and listening space has been established for adolescents aged 11 to 18. Running from August 31 until September 11, 2026, the program offers sports, workshops, theater, and psychological support. Hosted at the Istituto Comprensivo ‘Padre David Maria Turoldo’, this initiative is part of the TaGaDà project, coordinated by the FAI social cooperative to combat educational poverty.
