The Paleontological Museum of Asti reported a record 4,566 student visits during the last school year, with 75% primary school pupils, 20% secondary students, 4% early‑childhood participants and 1% university attendees. About 1,700 of those came from the Turin area, and many others from Alessandria and Cuneo provinces. The park’s guides offer specialized tours, podcasts for young children, and a competition for primary‑school signage projects in local nature reserves.

At the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo, a new children’s guide called “Petra” has been introduced. The €3.50 kit includes a map, games and activities aimed at visitors aged 6‑10, encouraging hands‑on exploration of rocks, fossils and minerals. It is available at the ticket office but not distributed during peak‑visitation days to maintain a smooth visitor experience.
