Italian music industry announces Linecheck 2026 and MEI festival dates

The Italian music industry is highlighting two major upcoming events. The twelfth edition of the Linecheck Music Meeting & Festival is scheduled for November 18 to 21, 2026, during Milan Music Week. Centered at BASE Milano, the event's theme is ‘Walking Distances,’ aiming to bridge gaps between professionals, artists, and international markets. The festival will feature three main summits: Sync (music and audiovisual), Creative Entrepreneurship (new business models), and Social Change (music's role in social and environmental shifts). The event continues its partnership with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) to connect the domestic music supply chain with international operators.

In Faenza, the MEI – Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti will take place from October 1 to 4. This gathering focuses on the independent music sector and the new generation of artists. The program includes various awards, such as the Arte Tamburini Prize and the PIMI – Premio Italiano Musica Indipendente 2026, alongside showcases for urban, rap, and indie artists. The event also features the 8th Record Fair, showcasing vinyl, CDs, and memorabilia.
