Italian musical groups Osso Sacro and 24 Grana release new albums
The Italian music scene sees the release of two significant albums from established and returning acts. Osso Sacro, a trio consisting of Vittorio Zollo, Corrado Ciervo, and Carlo Ciervo, has released their second album, “Cave Nove,” via Ipe Ipe Music. The project focuses on reinterpreting the musical traditions of the Campania region, specifically the Sannio area, aiming to prevent local culture from becoming mere folklore by “betraying tradition to keep it alive.”
Meanwhile, the group 24 Grana has returned with a new album titled “Bidonville,” marking their first release of new material in 15 years. The group is noted for its alternative style and its use of authentic Neapolitan dialect. Their new work is described as a political reflection of contemporary times, blending intimate songwriting with social engagement.
