Italian musical seasons launch in Teramo and Avezzano

New musical seasons are launching in Italy with major performances scheduled for October 2026.

In Teramo, the 41st Concert Season begins on October 7 at the University of Teramo's Aula Magna. The opening event features international violinist Massimo Quarta alongside Alessandro Marangoni. Quarta, a winner of the N. Paganini International Violin Competition, is recognized as a prominent soloist and conductor.

In Avezzano, the Teatro dei Marsi will launch its 20th musical season on October 10. Organized by Harmonia Novissima in collaboration with the Municipality of Avezzano, the inaugural concert titled ‘L’alba dentro l’imbrunire’ will feature singer-songwriter Giovanni Caccamo. Accompanied by 40 musicians from the Orchestra Internazionale della Campania under conductor Leonardo Quadrini, Caccamo will perform songs from his early albums and a tribute to his mentor, Franco Battiato.
