Rome to host major film festivals and Claudio Baglioni concerts in 2026

Rome is set to host several major cultural events in late 2026, headlined by the 21st Festa del Cinema di Roma and the 24th edition of Alice nella Città. Running from October 13 to 25, the film festivals will focus on independent, young, and multicultural cinema, featuring a diverse program of feature films, series, and documentaries.

The Alice nella Città festival is expanding its reach into the Ludovisi District, utilizing new locations such as the Cinema-Teatro Sistina, Cinema Adriano, and Quattro Fontane to promote urban and cultural renewal. Simultaneously, the Festa del Cinema will showcase various international and Italian productions, including documentaries on artists like Elisa and a film about musician Pino Daniele.

In addition to the film festivals, singer Claudio Baglioni has announced a series of seven concerts titled ‘Che notte è questa!’ scheduled from October 24 to November 1, 2026. These performances will take place at Piazza di Siena within Villa Borghese, an event presented alongside Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri.
