Italian national track cycling team names junior squad

Five athletes from the Treviso province have been called up to the Italian national team for the Junior Track Cycling World Championships, scheduled to take place in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, from August 19 to 23.

The squad includes Agata Campana, Jacopo Vendramin, Azzurra Ballan, Maya Ferrante, and Nicola Padovan. The group is led by technical staff including head coach Diego Bragato.

Agata Campana enters the competition following strong performances at the European Championships in Germany, where she secured gold medals in the Elimination and Scratch events. Jacopo Vendramin also joins the roster after a successful season that included a gold medal in the Elimination event at the European Championships and multiple medals at the 2025 World Championships.
