Italian parish communities host local festivals

Local communities in Italy are holding various parish-led festivals to foster social cohesion and religious tradition.

In Moniga del Garda, the Oratorio of the parish recently concluded its Festa dell’Oratorio, held from August 13 to 15. The event, which marked a return to festivities following pandemic-related interruptions, relied heavily on the efforts of volunteers and support from the local municipal administration to support youth and family activities.

In Jesolo, the San Giovanni Battista parish is preparing for its 47th annual 'Nostra Festa'. The community event is scheduled to run through late September and early October, featuring prayer, music, and communal meals. Key highlights include a Family Day on September 27 to celebrate marriage anniversaries and a farewell event for Don Alessandro Panzanato.
