Cosimo Latronico champions cultural heritage at Potenza art event

Regional health and PNRR minister Cosimo Latronico spoke at the presentation of the volume “Alle origini della memoria” in Potenza’s Galleria Idearte. The book, a collection of Geltrude Consalvo’s poems and Maria Ditaranto’s paintings, was described by Latronico as a means for the Lucanian community to reconnect with its roots and preserve collective memory. He emphasized that “art and poetry help a people without roots regain their identity” and praised the contributors for offering a “precious occasion of shared reflection.” The event also featured university professor Ruben Razzante, journalist‑sculptor Piero Ragone, publisher Giovanni Viggiano and was moderated by journalist Nicoletta Altomonte.
