Italian pizza traditions highlighted in New York and Rome

Italian culinary traditions are gaining international and domestic visibility through two major events. In New York, the Pizza a Vico association utilized Times Square's digital billboards to announce the 9th edition of the ‘Pizza a Vico’ festival, scheduled for September 15–17, 2026. The campaign, themed ‘A flavor without borders,’ aims to promote the gastronomic identity of Vico Equense on a global stage.

In Rome, the Coca-Cola Pizza Village is set to debut along the Lungotevere from September 3 to 6. Located between Ponte Garibaldi and Ponte Cestio, the event will feature renowned pizzaiolos such as Errico Porzio, Vincenzo Capuano, and L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele. The festival combines traditional Neapolitan recipes with contemporary experimentation and includes entertainment areas and sustainability initiatives.
